Zhu Zhu is the Director of Neo-Muzik Chamber, which is an appointed contemporary music group, where she directs the ensemble, she also directs the Baptist church ensemble in Lynn. With a multi-faceted background as a conductor, pianist and teacher, Ms. Zhu brings a wide ranging body of musical experiences and performing art to her work. She received her B.A in Orchestra Conducting from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2011 and her M.M in Choral Conducting from Boston Conservatory in 2014.
Since graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory, Ms. Zhu has been awarded several honors including participation in conducting masterclasses with the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, the Taipei National Symphony, and the Radio Symphony Orchestra of Stuttgart. While pursuing graduate degrees in Boson, Ms. Zhu served as assistant conductor for MIT chamber choir and Chorale, Boston Conservatory Choir, and accompanist position.
Ms. Zhu was born in Guangdong Province, China, has studied music with her parents since 5 and piano since 1997 with Dan Zhaoyi. Her primary conducting teachers include Fu RenChang, Lin Yousheng, Dr. William Cutter, Dr. George Case and she has received additional mentorship from Dr. Ann Howard Jones, Bruce Hangen, Tang MuHai, Roger Norrington, ZhengXiaoYing.
